I met a lovely woman a few months ago, when she came in with a family ring to be repaired. We clicked instantly and I knew I had to help her jewelry dreams come true. We repaired her beautiful heirloom and we started talking about engagement rings, with a center ruby or garnet. It was very serendipitous because we just happened to have the perfect ruby in our safe. I showed her the ruby and she was instantly smitten, but of course we wanted to show her fiance too. We scheduled a time for him to come in and we decided that this indeed was the perfect gem to create a one of a kind engagement ring. She loved triangular diamonds and felt they would be the perfect compliment for her ruby. We found some elongated, triangular cut diamonds that were the perfect size to be noticed and accent her gorgeous ruby. The ring was coming together so we moved forward fabricating the ring in 18k yellow gold. The ring turned out fantastic and beyond expectation. When the couple came in and saw the ring, all you could see were smiles and squeals of delight.
