Platinum diamond sapphire and filigree Edwardian style solitaire ring; Featuring an Antique European cut diamond supported in a 4 prong setting flanked on each shoulder by 3 calibre cut blue natural sapphires (6 total). The filigree under gallery is set with 14 round brilliant cut diamonds. Flanked on each shoulder by 3 channel set calibre cut blue natural sapphires (6 total).Transitoning through engraved shoulders to a bright polished knife edged shank.

 

Accenting and detail: The shoulders are bright cut engraved with a wheat motif and all edges are mill grained.

 

Inspiration:  derived from the intricate delicacy of the 1920’s Edwardian period, a time when natural gem specimens were relatively abundant embracing the new and exciting metal “platinum”. Crafted today using today’s technology and stable alloys embracing the same hand craftsmanship and detail from the turn of the century (1900)
