Rare and iconic vintage Margo de Taxco snake head drop earrings in sterling silver and vibrant enamel. Each earring features a fully three-dimensional snake head, richly champlevé enameled in shimmering shades of green, blue, and yellow that mimic iridescent scales. Turquoise-colored enameled cabochons circle the collar, and the drops are suspended from matching green-enameled silver domes for beautiful movement and color near the face.

These earrings are a perfect companion to our matching Margo de Taxco snake necklace (listed separately) and are an outstanding example of her collectible Taxco enamel work—bold, sculptural, and unmistakably Margo.

About the Designer – Margo de Taxco
Margo de Taxco (Margot van Voorhies Carr) was one of the most important mid-20th-century jewelry designers in Taxco, Mexico. Celebrated for her imaginative, sculptural silverwork and masterful use of enamel, she created highly collectible designs in the 1940s–1960s that remain favorites with serious collectors today. These snake head enamel earrings are a quintessential example of her bold, wearable art.
