Diamond set onyx Tri color gold ring; featuring a claw set, slightly domed oval piece of black onyx mounted with an early transitional round cut diamond, bead set in a navette shaped white gold mounting. Surrounded by an under bezel of abstract petals, pink and yellow gold flower motif prongs and a rose gold spiral motif. The polished rose gold under gallery is attached to rounded shoulders that transition down to a matching shank.

Note: Many people ask.  What is green gold?  Gold is always yellow when it is 24 karat. It is usually alloyed with other metals to make the gold harder and more practical for wearing. These other metals have an effect on the color of the gold as well.  In this case silver was added to the flower accents that over time oxidizes and display’s a green hue. Pink gold for example has a high percentage of copper added as an alloy and so on. The Victorians were obsessed with gold and played around with colored golds.
