This substantial circa 1960s sterling silver bracelet by Danish designer Poul Warmind is constructed from a wonderfully articulated series of hinged, vertebrae-like sections.
Each sculptural link moves independently, allowing the bracelet to flex and flow around the wrist almost like a silver spine.
And then there’s the clasp.
Rather than interrupting the design with an ordinary closure, Warmind incorporated an ingenious hidden screw-down clasp that virtually disappears into the bracelet when fastened.
At 64.22 grams, this is a serious piece of silver—bold, beautifully engineered and unmistakably Mid-Century Danish.
